Important notice for passengers travelling to and from Niger

Dear passengers,
Please you can see below the latest COVID-19 announcement issued by the government of Niger. If a traveler has taken the “recommended doses” of a COVID-19 vaccination there will not be any restrictions while entry into the country:

BioNTech: 2 dose
AstraZeneca: 2 dose
Sinovac: 2 dose
Sinopharm: 2 dose
Moderna: 2 dose
Johnson & Johnson: 1 dose

1-Travellers arriving (disembarking):
– for vaccinated travelers whose last dose is at least 4 weeks old, the COVID-19 PCR test is no longer required;
– for travelers who have not been vaccinated or who have not provided proof of vaccination, the last dose of which dates back at least 4 weeks, the COVID-19 PCR test is required.

2-Travellers departing (boarding)
– for any traveler presenting proof of vaccination for which the last dose dates back at least 4 weeks, the COVID-19 PCR test is no longer required.
– for any traveler who has not been vaccinated or who has not provided proof of vaccination, the last dose of which dates back at least 4 weeks, the COVID-19 PCR test is required.

3-Validity of the results of the PCR COVID-19 Test:
– five (05) days from the date of collection for nationals of WAEMU countries;
– seventy-two (72) hours from the date of sampling for nationals of other non-UEMOA countries.
Travelers should inform themselves before leaving Niger about the measures to combat COVID-19 applied in the host and transit countries. The Government urges the population to respect individual and collective protection measures and to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
